This weekend sees two exciting events to celebrate Burnham's success and culture
Saturday is the presentation of the Pushman Cup for the Best Kept Large Village in Bucks:
The presentation will take place from around 1020, on the green in front of the Burnham Park Hall, by the Best Village sign; and residents are very welcome to attend.
The Chair of the Best Village competition, Cllr Bill Chappell, who will be present along with competition judges, will make a speech, with a reply from the Chair of the Parish Council, Cllr Marie Hammon. Bill will then present the Pushman Cup to Marie and one of our Grounds Team Barry. There will then be photos.
The presentation party have to depart by 1045 latest to go to Marlow, but everyone attending is invited to have a tea or coffee and a biscuit in the Huntercombe Room in the Hall afterwards.
